Empower Women Media is excited to launch the 2026 Middle East Media Fellowship. This program from April-June is designed to equip Middle Eastern filmmakers to become powerful interfaith and peacebuilding advocates through their craft.

Why This Fellowship Matters

In a divided world, this fellowship offers something rare: a collaborative space where filmmakers can develop compelling short films (1-5 minutes) that showcase peaceful, multi-faith coexistence in the Middle East. This project promotes storytelling as a form of bridge-building and activism.

Fellowship Includes:

• Expert-led virtual training and production coaching
• Mentorship to develop impactful media projects
• Production of an original 1–5 minute film
• Entry into our international film competition with cash prizes
• Global promotion through international screenings and press coverage
• Connection to a worldwide network of peacebuilding filmmakers.

30 fellowship spots are available. Passionate filmmakers, both emerging and experienced, who are ready to use their voices for peace.
