Advocacy
Who Moved the Jews? is an interactive, media-based toolkit to counter religious persecution.
Created in partnership with Empower Women Media and other advocacy organizations, this compelling short film traces the 4,000-year history of Jewish life in the Middle East, highlighting how Jews have remained resilient despite repeated conflict and persecution. Through expert commentary, it explores a recurring cycle of exile and adaptation. Ultimately, it invites viewers to reflect on the importance of fostering multi-faith societies in the region.
The media tool kit includes the 13-minute film, reflection questions, and award certificates.
According to Pew Research, 80% of the world lives with religious restrictions. Our goal, through the media toolkit, is to address this disturbing trend by:
- Building trust and respect between people of different faiths
- Increasing awareness of religious restrictions in the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond
- Amplifying women’s voices in promoting freedom of belief
- Providing practical solutions that foster multi-faith societies
This is why we are excited about the launch of Who Moved the Jews?, which gives participants the opportunity to dialogue about religious freedom and engage in human rights training. We hope this media toolkit stimulates rich conversations and fruitful advocacy efforts that shift culture to support greater religious freedom worldwide.
