The City of West Hollywood, Women’s Voices Now (WVN), and Empower Women Media (EWM) are proud to co-host the Women, Life, Freedom Film Festival, highlighting short films by Iranians and Farsi speakers to support pluralism and democracy, through the lens of women filmmakers. The event is scheduled to take place on November 28, 2023, in West Hollywood at City Hall.
This film festival will include short films, expert speakers, panels, practical tools and networking. The short films represent a collective effort to support the freedom movement underway for women’s rights and democratic change.
Government, business, academic, media, NGO, and faith leaders are invited. The event is free for registered guests.
Special thanks to Lisa Daftari (Foreign Desk), Manel Mslami (EU International Advisor For Minorities) and Shervin Abachi (malbachi.com) for their support to help make the event a success.
