What Will You Get From This Fellowship?
Empower Women Media trains women influencers to stand up for their faith and lead with confidence. The fellowship participants develop an Action Plan to showcase the benefits of women’s leadership in church and society. Each participant produces an event-based project to expand their visibility and outreach. As a result, the women develop confidence, talking points and practical solutions to advance their leadership platform & foster faith-based solutions.
Upon completing the fellowship requirements, a certificate of leadership will be awarded. The participants’ projects are submitted to a leadership competition with the chance to win cash prizes.

Fellowship Requirements
- Applicants must speak and write in English
- Attend online workshops (Fall 2024)
- Complete assignments (3 hours per week)
- Develop a plan of action
- Complete progress reports
- Showcase graduation project.
How to Apply
Applicants must complete an online application form, and submit a headshot photo, CV, social media links, and a 250-word summary about why they want to be in the leadership fellowship.
Hoped for Outcomes
- Train 15 women leaders via online leadership fellowship and certificate training
- Provide homework assignments and follow up, which lead to project development
- Develop a plan of action to showcase women’s stories, talents and leadership strategies
- Challenge participants to share their leadership projects in their communities and media
- Offer cash prizes to award winning projects (1st, 2nd and 3rd place)
- Showcase the women’s successful projects through leadership events and press releases
- Identify strengths and weakness during the pilot program.
